Follow up appointment with the doctor this morning. I can stop wearing the brace 24/7! Which is good, because I was getting very bad at it due to itching and pressure bruising. Now I should wear it at night, and take naproxen (aka Aleve) when I need to, and do stretches, and also run my paws under hot water for a session each day because the doctor ( Read more... )

i am still laboriously typing with my arm brace on. it crops up in small things - pressing shift is something i do with my right hand, so capital letters are being mostly ignored. i end up pressing the semi colon instead of apostrophe most of the time because the apostrophe is just 1-2 mm further than i can reach my little finger around the brace ( Read more... )

For the last week I've been having a carpal tunnel flareup. For me, usually, this means that my thumb goes numb. It's annoying - VERY annoying over a long period of time - but doesn't really make much of an impact on what I do other than me chewing on my thumb a lot because it feels like I have pins and needles in it.
